- NA ISSUE DATE: June 1, 2004 POSTED DATE: June 1, 2004 TITLE: Notice of Intent to Procure Sole Source SOL: RFQ10N3-205-04 DUE: 6/18/04 NAICS: 423450 POP STATE: Not specified AGENCY: Attn: Department of Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Medical Center POC: Greg Vogt DESCRIPTION: This is a notice of intent of the NJ Healthcare System VA Medical Center, East Orange, NJ to negotiate sole source with ERBE USA, Inc., located at 2225 Northwest Parkway, Marietta, GA 30067. ERBE shall provide the Argon Plasma Coagulator in accordance with all contract terms and conditions. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302 (6.302-2,(ii) (A)) And FAR Part 15. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by the equipment available from one source. One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. NAICS code is 423450, size standard in number of employees is 100. Solicitation packages are not available and telephone requests will not be honored. This notice is for information only and may represent the only official notice of such solicitation. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
