Description
PRE-SYNOPSIS Services, non-personal to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, equipment and appliances necessary to Construct Joint Use Composite Dining Facility Combat Readiness Training Center, Alpena, MI Project Number TDVG009229. T he Project consists of constructing three separate buildings: The new Dining Hall Facility is a 10,300-sq. ft. facility, including all appropriate utilities. This facility will be located at the intersection of H Street and Thunderbolt Avenue. The existin g Dining Hall Facility is to be demolished. The roads Chow Alley and F Street are to be removed. The block bordered by F Street, Chow Alley, Hercules Avenue and Thunderbolt Avenue is to have site improvements including a new parking lot and entrances. The new Services Facility is a 6,000-sq. ft. facility, including demolition of existing buildings and all appropriate utilities. This facility will be located on Falcon Avenue between C Street and D Street. The new Roads and Grounds Facility is an 8,000 sq. f t. facility, including all appropriate utilities. This facility will be located at the end of Roads and Grounds Roads. The estimated cost range of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The total construction performance period is 546 calend ar days after receipt of NTP. The solicitation issue date is on/about 21 June 2004. Proposal Closing date is on/about 20 July 2004. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Award will be UNRESTRICTED and is being pursuant tot he Small Business comp etitiveness Demonstration Program (Ref: FAR 19(c)(2)). Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business concerns in accordance with FAR 52.219-4 is applicable. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 and t he Size Standard for Small Businesses is $28.5 million annual receipt for the past 3 years. A Small Business subcontracting plan will be required if the offeror is a large business and must be submitted with offer. The solicitation package will be issued via the web only. All amendments, site visit minutes and questions will be posted on the web. There is no charge for the plans and specifications, which will be available through the following Internet site http://www/selfridgecontracting.com. All cont ractors and subcontractors interested in this project must register at the site. For security reasons all potential offerors, plan rooms and printing companies are required to register in the Central Contractor??????s Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov and the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) https://www.fedteds.gov in order to view or download the plans or drawings from the web site. The contract will be awarded under source Selection procedures specified in the solicitation. Evaluation fact ors include Past Performance and Price.
