- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure on a full and open competitive basis new office furniture for the U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Experimentation (J9) Building Addition located at 115 Lake View Parkway, Suffolk, VA 23435. The contractor shall be responsible for complete installation of all items that will be identified by the statement of work and accompanying diagrams in the forthcoming solicitation. The required office furniture shall include, but not be limited to, all modular workstations, all miscellaneous components, supports and connectors, all furniture systems wiring components, and all other furniture items. Completion of construction of the new J9 Building Addition is scheduled for 15 September 2004, whereby the contractor issued the new furniture order shall order furniture for estimated delivery beginning 10 October 2004. Final walk-through inspection of furniture is scheduled for 21 October 2004. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. Quoters shall be responsible to submit pricing. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code and small business size standard are 337211 and 500 employees, respectively. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia. The solicitation will be made available on the Navy?s Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at www.neco.navy.mil or by written request by letter, fax, or e-mail sent to FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, 700 Robbins Avenue, Bldg. 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083, Attn: John D. Favata, Code 02P22Z, (215) 697-9632. The anticipated release date of the solicitation on the NECO website is 8 June 2004. The closing date of the solicitation will be established in the Request For Quote (RFQ). Quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award.
