Description

This announcement serves as a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The government intends to negotiate solicitation 04SP201016 and award to General Electric Global Control Service (Formerly Woodward Governor Company) for the conversion of New Melones Powerplant governors from electronic mechanical to digital control. All governor modification equipment is to be mounted on the existing governor equipment supplied by Woodward Governor Company in 1979. Digital governor controls include installation of hardware and software for operation of New Melones Units 1 and 2, spare parts, and installation and commissioning of governors. This notice will be the only notice prior to award of the contract. The anticipated award date is June 24, 2004. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer, Attn: MP-3821, 2800 Cottage Way, Room E-1815, Sacramento, CA 95825-1898. Inquires shall be received by June 21, 2004. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (03-JUN-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
