- Description
- The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is requesting proposals in accordance with the requirements of Request for Proposal (RFP)-244-04-0020-REL for the provision of Orthopedic Services for the Crow Service Unit, PHS Indian Hospital, Crow Agency, Montana. This unrestricted procurement is being conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, and FAR Subpart 37.4, Nonpersonal Health Care Services (10 U.S.C. 2304 and 41 U.S.C. 253). The services include onsite specialty clinics (twice per month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), onsite surgery, and offsite surgery. The contract employees shall be subject to a character investigation as required by Public Law 101-630, Indian Family Violence Prevention Act and Public Law 101-647, Crime Control Act. The contract will be awarded for a 12-month period with four 12-month options. The tentative issue date of the solicitation is June 22, 2004, with a response date of July 22, 2004.
