- THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO REVIEW AND PRINT ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEB SITE IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. COLORADO HILL-ZACA MINE REMOVAL ACTION PROJECT. To reclaim abandoned mines consisting of building acid mine drainage infiltration systems at the Lower Advance adit and the Lower Colorado adit, capping the 2 Lovestedt Tailings impoundments, stabilizing the Zaca Tailings and 3 small mine reclamation projects as detailed in the specifications. From Markleeville, California, proceed 4 miles southeast on Highway 4 to the intersection with Highway 89. Turn left on Highway 89, Monitor Pass Highway, and proceed 1.7 miles to the Lower Advance adit located adjacent to the road. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for June 29, 2004, at 1:00pm at the Lower Advance adit project location. NAICS code: 562910, size standard: $12.0 Million. Estimated start date is September 13, 2004, with 120 calendar days for completion. Estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This proposed procurement is under this Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
