- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with Concurrent Technologies Corporation for a base year and 4 option years. This effort will involve the establishment of a Multi-Int Fused Imagery (MIFI) foundation capability. This capability will allow for the integration, storing, and retrieval of collected imagery data, which will, eventually, be assessed and fused. Utilizing improved markup languages (ex. XML, GML), incorporating image tagging, pointers, and rapidly developing web technologies suggest there are ways available to provide MIFI data (raw, target and collection) to customers in near real time. Creation of a multidimensional information space around the image with fused relevant data will transform how data is viewed. Envisioned are multiple representations of each fused image, for different purposes, used by various end users. This effort will require working in a sensitive, compartmented environment.
