- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Intelligence intends on awarding a sole source procurement to SouthWest Research Institute (SWRI), 6220 Culebra Road, San Antonio, TX 78228-0510 for the upgrade and one-year maintenance on two HFM-2000 DF Systems. The HFM-2000 DF Systems were manufactured by SWRI and the software and system design are proprietary to the SWRI. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price award will be made. Any interested party may submit, in writing, a detailed capability statement to respond to this requirement. However, A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation package will be issued. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received by 5:00PM EST, June 15, 2004, the Contracting Officer will proceed with award to SWRI.
