Description

Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to "jack-up barge" for 14 days to be used for onscene construction at Minots Light Ledge, Scituate MA 02066. Dates: starting either 21 June 2004 or 12 July 2004 for approximately 14 days. Contractor responsible for delivering, anchoring, removing barge. Barge and equipment and transportation shall meet all applicable USCG and OSHA regulations. Barge shall be equipped with adequate berthing, shower/head, galley facilities and on board cook for four USCG personnel. There are no sanitation facilities or utilities at Minots Ledge Light therefore, barge must be self-sufficient. Barge shall have a minimum working desk space of 750sf and shall be equipped with a deck crane capable of lifting a load of 2500lbs approximately 50 ft above the deck. If any break in onscene time is required to complete refueling, watering, or sewage pumping, these costs shall be figured into quotes provided. Barge to be available at agreed aupon location for preloading prior to the start of the 14 days. Name of barge and present location required so barge can be viewed inspected prior to award.
