- Bessey Ranger District Office & Recreation Topographic Site Surveys. Involves conducting topo site surveys of the hardwood site and the group area site. Work includes setting up vertical & horizontal control to perform a topo site suvey. Items to locate and identify include all utilities, vegetation, structures, roads, parking, sidewalks, and other miscellaneous items within the designated areas. Areas to be surveyed shall be designated by the Forest Service. Existing vertical & horizontal control shall be utilized.
