- Description
- NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, P.O. Box 3700, Attn: J5620, Loveland, CO. 80539 3003. Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to furnishing and installing pre-engineered 100 foot, 3 leg, self-supporting steel microwave tower and foundation, associated grounding, climbing provisions, antenna and waveguide, and construction of new concrete building foundation with associated site work for the Sunlight Peak Microwave. Work shall be conducted at Western's Microwave Site, located near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. All work shall commence within 20 calendar days after Receipt of Notice to proceed, and completed all work within 90 calendar days from receipt of such notice. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 to $250,000. There will only be one award from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". This solicitation will be issued on or about June 22, 2004. Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. The closing date is on or about July 22, 2004. This proposed procurement is full and open. National American Industry Classification Code is 237130 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million. The solicitation will be posted electronically at this web site. The specification and drawings will be issued hard copy. Requests for specifications and drawings must be submitted in writing by faxing 970.461.7377 or by email (gutierre@wapa.gov). Information hours are from 7:00am (MT) to 3:00pm (MT), Monday through Friday.
