Description

Project Repair Dryer Vent System Bldgs 516, 596 & 776, Sheppard Air Force Base, TX will be issued in the near future. 1. Work under this contract shall include providing all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation required to install a dryer vent duct for all the laundry rooms in buildings 516, 596 and 776, Sheppard AFB, TX. There are a total of 6 laundry rooms, two in each building. Work also consists of demolition of CMU block wall to gain access to existing exhaust and intake ducts, and installation of metal panels for same access. 2. Performance period is 35 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. Magnitude of construction project is less than $25,000 Solicitation is being set aside for EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 238220 with a size standard of 12.0 million dollars. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract. Information to register can be found on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ telephone 1-888-227-2423. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is on or about 10 June 2004.
