- WR-ALC/LEKVB intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of flightline tow tractors, 2x4 and 4x4 sizes iaw Commercial Item Description A-A-59312B and Engineering Data List. RFP and resultant contract will consist of one basic contract period of 12 months and 4 annual options. Resulting contract will be a requirements-type iaw FAR 16.503 with Best Estimated Quantities identified. FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, procedures will be utilized as well as the Performance-Price Trade-Off (PPT)acquisition methodology. 100% set aside for small business participation only. Projected date for RFP release onto FedBizOpps website is 12 August 2004.
