- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), and the reference number is F73LRS41460300. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 333412 and the size standard is 500 employees. Contractor is required to provide overhead exhaust system hoses to expel automotive exhaust gases outside of vehicle maintenance shop. Eighteen Car-Mon exhaust system hoses are needed 5? diameter by 25? length long. Type HTX-S high temp hose assessory complete with Type 5A/HH tailpipe adapter. Eighteen Car-Mon heavy duty clamping adapters with spring loaded for secure attachment and all accessories required for installation. All quotes shall include pricing for F.O.B. destination to Dover AFB, DE. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items, is applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (FAR 52.222-3); FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration); FAR 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside; FAR 52.247-34, F.O.B. Destination, and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (DFARS 252.225-7001), Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program), DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act--Balance of Payments Program Certificate and DFARS 252.225-7002, Qualifying Country Sources as Subcontractors are applicable to this acquisition. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CONTRACTORS: Any award resulting from the solicitation will include DFARS Clause 252.237-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. Section 1008 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001 requires any claims for payments (invoices) under DoD contract to be submitted in electronic form. Wide Area Workflow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF- RA) is the DoD system of choice for implementing this statutory requirement.
