Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. EXTENT OF LIABILITY: This document is not a contract, but an agreement that the government may purchase the scheduled items at the prices set forth therein. The quantities are estimates only. The Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized pur chases actually made under the Blanket Purchase Agreement. AUTHORIZED CALLERS: The following individuals are authorized to place orders against this Blanket Purchase Agreement not to exceed the amounts specified per call. The Government shall not be obligated for orders placed by other than the individuals listed herein. QTY UNIT UNIT PRICE 0001 PASSENGER BUS LEASE FFP-Provide passenger buses with licensed drivers per month in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). 0001AA 28 Passenger bus with driver 40 HR per MO $ 0001AB 35 Passenger bus with driver 40 HR per MO $ 0001AC 45 Passenger bus with driver 40 HR per MO $ 001AD 59 Passenger bus with driver 40 HR per MO $ DELIVERY TICKETS: Contractor shall furnish a delivery ticket with the following information to the caller upon delivery of a vehicle: name of contractor, BPA number, date of order, call number, itemized list of items delivered to include item number quanti ty and extended price, and the date of delivery. INVOICES: A summary invoice shall be submitted at lest monthly or upon expiration of the BPA, whichever occurs first, for all deliveries made during a billing period, identifying the delivery tickets covered therein, stating their total dollar value, and s upported by receipt copies of the delivery tickets. STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW): This SOW is to define the requirements to lease vehicles in support of transportation for distinguished visitors on official visits to Hq, SOUTHCOM and in support of official ceremonies at Hq, SOUTHCOM. 1. Vehicles supplied shall be no more than three years old, meet industry standards for cleanliness and maintenance for leased vehicles, and include the following insurance coverage??????s: a. General liability: $1,000,000.00 b. Automobile liability: $1,000,000.00 Before commencing work, the contractor shall notify the Contracting Office in writing that the required insurance has been obtained. The policies evidencing the required insurance shall contain an endorsement to the effect that any cancellation or any mate rial change adversely affecting the interests of the Government shall not be effective (1) for such period as the laws of the State of Florida prescribe or (2) until 30 days after written notice to the Contracting Officer, whichever period is longer. The p olicies shall exclude any claim by the insurer for subrogation against the Government by reason of any payment under the policies. 2. Contractor shall preposition the bus at the ordered place no later than one half-hour prior to scheduled departure. 3. Contractor shall deliver the ordered bus to the specified location during the hours of 0600-2300 Monday through Friday and for special group transportation requirements on weekends or holidays for transportation in and around the greater Miami Metro ar ea. 4. (2) The Contractor shall make available at its offices at all reasonable times the records, materials, and other evidence for examination, audit, or reproduction, until 3 years after final payment under this contract or for any shorter period specified in FAR Subpart 4.7, Contractor Records Retention, of the other clauses of this contract. If this contract is completely or partially terminated, the records relating to the work terminated shall be made available for 3 years after any res ulting final termination settlement. Records relating to appeals under the disputes clause or to litigation or the settlement of claims arising under or relating to this contract shall be made available until such appeals, litigation, or claims are finally resolved. (3) As used in this clause, records include books, documents, accounting procedures and practices, and other data, regardless of type and regardless of form. This does not require the Contractor to create or maintain any record that the Contractor does not maintain in the ordinary course of business or pursuant to a provision of law. (e) (1) Notwithstanding the requirements of the clauses in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), and (d) of this clause, the Contractor is not required to flow down any FAR clause, other than those in paragraphs (i) through (vi) of this paragraph in a subcontract for commercial items.
