- Z: Maintenance, Repair or Alternation of Real Property 06/05/2004 Ms. Carrie Hancock, USPFO for Nebraska, 1234 Military Road, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508-1092 (402) 309-7541 RENOVATION OF BLDG 50, Memorial Hall, Camp Ashland, Ashland Nebraska, Solicitation No. W91243-04-B-0001. This project is for all construction services, non-personal to provide all labor, materials, equipment and appliances necessary to renovate and modern ize the general instruction/auditorium building made of permanent masonry type construction, brick and concrete blocks units with wood and concrete floors and a single membrane roof. This is a two story structure requiring mechanical and electrical upgrad es to support installation of cost effective energy-efficient HVAC and electrical systems that meet the most current NEC requirements. The work includes but is not limited to: demolition, installation of new ceiling beams, plumbing, mechanical and elect rical systems, and painting, new wall construction, ceiling/floor tile, new electrical accessories and lighting and other site work as required. The facility was constructed in 1929 and is eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historical Pla ces. The proposed construction plans have been reviewed and approved by the State Historical Preservation Office. Deviation from these plans will require review by the SHPO. The estimated construction range is over $500,000. This project is being procured on an UNRESTRICTED basis as per FAR Part 19.1001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 and the Size Standard is 28.5 Million annual receipts for the past 3 years. A price evaluation preference for HUBZONE smal l business concerns shall be applied as per FAR Part 19.1307. The contract will be evaluated based on price alone as per FAR 14.404. The lowest priced bidder must be found responsible as per FAR 9.1 prior to award. Each contractor is required to subm it performance and payment bonds prior to Notice to proceed being given. There is no charge for the plans and specifications, which will be available through www.neguard.com/contracting Electronic Bid System o/a June 21, 2004. All contractors and subc ontractors interested in this project must register at this site. Prime Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. A pre-bid site visit will be held o/a 8 July 2004, 0900 hrs a t Bldg 50, Camp Ashland, Ashland, NE.
