Description

The United States Army Tank Automotive and Armament Command located in Rock Island, Illinois intends to award a sole source purchase order to RACOM Corporation, 201 W. State St., Marshalltown, IA, for renewal of monthly rental and on-call maintenance of the following equipment: EDACS trunked radio system and 129 radios at Rock Island Arsenal. On-call maintenance shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Response time after notification to the contractor that a service call is required is a maximum of 20 minutes. Other interested firms able to meet these requirements are invited to submit a response within 7 working days after appearance of this notice but only in writing with clear and convincing documentation to TACOM-Rock Island, 1 Rock I sland Arsenal, ATTN: AMSTA-AQ-ARI-B/Roxanne Little, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630 or by e-mail to roxanne.little@us.army.mil. Responses must include at a minimum how the on-call maintenance and technical information sufficient to enable the Government to d etermine if a vendor can meet the Government??????s needs. No contract award will be made on the basis of offers/proposals received in response to this notice. If no affirmative responses are received clearly demonstrating a vendor??????s ability to meet the Government need with 7 working days after publication of this notice a sole source purchase order shall be issued to RACOM Corporation. All contractors who provide goods and services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Centra l Contractor Register (CCR) in order to be awarded DOD contracts.
