- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the installation of pond liners at the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery, Riverdale, ND. The contractor shall install 45 mil potable water grade polypropylene liners in Pond No. 11 (approx. 2.3 surface acres), Pond No. 23 (approx. 2.0 surface acres), and Pond No. 13 (approx. 2.3 surface acres). Work shall include removing, screening, and replacing riprap, clear and grub bottoms of existing ponds, grading bottoms, and preparing grades surface to accept pond liner. Performance period is 45 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The RFP documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Website at HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFP number 601814R370 on or about June 23, 2004, with a 30 day closing. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose proposal contains the combination of those criteria offering the best overall value to the Government using the Past Performance and Price Tradeoff (PPT) best value continuum approach. Effective October 1, 2003, all contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website as an active vendor in order to be eligible for an award. Please be sure your firm is registered. The website is: www.ccr.gov. This acquisition is open to both large and small business. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
