- Description
- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to partially rehabilitate the Honkers Lake impoundment by replacing the principal spillway drainage gate and associated piping downstream to the first band, scour hole and principal spillway repair at the outlet end. An additive item is for the installation of clay liner and scarp repair. The work site is located within the confines of the Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge in McBee, South Carolina. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 06/21/04, with a 07/21/04 closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 07/30/04. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ Number 401814Q035. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505.
