- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex intend to procure on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302 under a firm fixed priced contract, one each Case Assembly , WARREN P/N 651Z1406. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.5 with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00181-04-Q-0495 applies. Delivery shall be FOB destination, NNSY, Portsmouth, VA 23709. Inspection/acceptance at destination. The following provisions/clauses are applicable: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52-212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (incorporating (14) (15), (16), (17), (18), (19), (24), and (29). ADDENDA: DFAR 252.212.7001 and DFAR 252.204-7004 ?REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION? apply to this acquisition. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3. Offer Representation and Certification-Commercial Items. Offer shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, and satisfactory past performance. The Navy?s contractor evaluation system, Red/Yellow/Green Program will apply in the evaluation process. Parties responding to this Request for Quotation may submit their quote in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. company letterhead, formal quote form, etc) but must include the following: 1) complete mailing/remittance address; 2) prompt payment discount; 3) anticipated delivery; 4) Taxpayer Identification Number; 5) All completed certifications as required as required herein. All quotations must be received by 2:00 PM, local time, 14 June 2004.
