Description

Web Content Manager / Editor - Contract Position The U.S. House of Representatives Office of Resources Information seeks the services of a contractor who will develop content management strategies for www.house.gov (the House public Web site), HouseNet (the House intranet), and model content strategies for Member and Committee sites. Content strategies will incorporate information architecture, style, branding, and performance issues, as well as audience interest. Contractor will advise Member, Committee, and support offices in both group and one-on-one settings. There are 440 Member offices. Major responsibilities include customer interface to acting as a liaison between House Member and Committee offices, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) office, and House Information Resources (HIR) -- Information Management (IM) --Web Systems Branch (HIR-IM-WSB) and House offices. Specific duties include advising on information architecture, user interfaces, solution options, and writing and editing content. Contractor will work closely with HIR - WSB management, CAO the CAO communications teamteam, and other organizations as needed. Other duties as assigned by WSB Managementmanagement. Candidate(s) will be interviewed as deemed necessary by HIR.
