Description
CONTACT Cristina Mundrane, VIS Engineer,(732) 427-2421. This is a Market Survey to locate sources of supply for: 1. Vehicular Intercommunications System (VIS) Engineering Services that will establish new vehicular configurations of the VIS, to includ e submission of a report and installation drawings. Installation may be in U.S. Army or Marine Corps tracked or wheeled vehicles; 2. VIS Installation Kit (IK) Production on an IDIQ basis with First Article for those companies not already qualified. The IK s include brackets, attachment hardware and cables, but do not include the electronic units or headsets. Source must describe his experience in performing vehicle installation surveys, and in preparing installation kits and the requisite documentation to i nclude reports and drawings. Detailed technical data for the manufacture, test and acceptance of these items is not available from the government. Source should provide with his response the performance specification(s), test plan and test data, as applica ble, to show compliance with requirements. The response must include documentation (e.g. test results), or a statement from the previous source that the supplier can, in fact, supply VIS IKs that will be form, fit and functionally interchangeable and inter operable with the existing AN/VIC-3(V) systems from the previously known supplier (Northrop Grumman Corp.). Successful supplier will be required to warrant that the items to be supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended b y the Government and be delivered on time.
