- MODIFICATION INCORPORATES THE FOLLOWING DATES: PREBID IS SCHEDULED FOR 10:00 AM, JULY 14, 2004 AT THE FEDERAL CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION, WASECA, MINNESOTA. BID OPENING IS ON JULY 27, 2004 AT 2:00 PM CST AT TOWER II, 8TH FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM, 400 STATE STREET KANSAS CITY, KANSAS 66101. SOLICITATION ISSUANCE IS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 24, 2004. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office of the North Central Region in Kansas City, Kansas, is procureing a contractor to provide all tools, equipment, labor and materials necessary to removal and disposal of existing roof and installation of specified EPDM roofing and realted components to the Federal Correctional Institution, Waseca, Minnesota. The total area of the roofs is approximately 74,000 square feet. Contractor is responsible for final verification. Residency requirements are applicable. All Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Magnitude of Construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsive and responsible offers will be considered. A pre-bid and closing date will be advertised at a later date. this is a small business set-aside. See numbered note 1.
