Description

Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to "Transfer Emergency Power, IRMS & Dietetics". Work includes general construction, the demolition of an existing 350 KW emergency generator, and associated fuel system, remote radiator and controls, replacement of an existing 800 amp automatic transfer switch, emergency power distribution panel board and certain other items as required by the specifications and drawings. The NAICS code is 238210/size standard is $12 million. Cost range is $250,000-$500,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL HUB-ZONE SET ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM QUALIFIED HUB-ZONE SMALL BUSINESSES. The issue date is 6/23/04. Pre-Bid Conference: 7/8/04 at 1:00PM in Room 11, Bldg. 62. Bid Opening: 7/23/04 at 3:00pm in Room 11, Bldg. 62 at the VA Medical Center, Lake City,FL.
