Description

The NAVAIR Depot Cherry Point, NC has a requirement to procure Special Tooling required for the repair and overhaul of the V-22 T62T-46-2 Auxiliary Power Unit from Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems of San Diego, CA. This is a notice of intent to request a quote and negotiate with Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems, 4400 Ruffin Road, San Diego, CA 91286. Hamilton Sundstrand has been identified as the only responsible source capable of meeting the Government's requirements since they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the V-22 T62T-46-2 Auxiliary Power Unit. No other known source exists. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded to Hamilton Sundstrand for a period of performance through 6/30/05.
