- REQUIREMENT: The United States Government is requesting expressions of interest for the potential of leasing office and related space consisting of approximately 14,000 square feet of rentable area and four (4) reserved parking spaces. The rentable space must yield approximately 12,000 square feet of ANSI/BOMA measured Usable Area. DELINEATED AREA: Offered properties shall be located within the Central Business District of Providence, R.I., defined as within the area bounded by: North- State Route 44, East-Main Street, South- I-195 and West- I-95. TERM: The U.S. Government is interested in a lease proposal of 10 years, 5 years firm and cancellable by the Government on 60 days notice after the fifth year. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy within 3 to 6 months of a signed lease. OTHER: The space must meet requirements for fire-safety plus handicapped access in accordance with PL-90-480 and must include all services and utilities. Submission by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the offeror is representing more than one property, the offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner. Expressions of interest should include the following: 1. Building Name and Address, and location of space in the building 2. Rentable Square Feet Offered and rentable rate per square foot (specifying services and utilities included) 3. ANSI/BOMA defined Usable Square Feet 4. Percentage of Common Area Factor used to determine the Rentable Square Feet 5. Contact information for Owner or Authorized Agent Written notice of availability of space must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on June 21, 2004.
