- NOAA?s Marine Operations Center ? Pacific has a requirement to provide all facilities, supervision, material, and labor necessary to perform drydock conversion and repairs to the NOAA Vessel MACARTHUR II. Performance period to commence approximately 11/29/04 and conclude 3/30/05. The work consists of approximately 29 basic items and 11 optional items. Basic work includes: Mission Deck Modifications, 01 Level Deck Modifications, SURTASS Control Tower: Remove, After Deck Crane Installation, Central Hydraulic System Installation, Oceanographic Winch Relocation, etc. The vessel will be available for inspection 26-30 July 2004 at Kodiak, AK. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. The Request for Proposals will be issued approximately 7/15/04. For a copy of the solicitation you must register on the FBO to ?receive notification? as well as registering as an "interested vendor". Upon release of the solicitation to the FBO for download, you will receive email notification. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued.
