- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Medical Center Carswell located in Fort Worth, Texas. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Years are as follows: Inpatient Days 1800 days; Skilled Nursing Facility - 100 days; Long Term Care Hospital - 100 days; Outpatient Visits - 1000 visits. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on/or about July 1, 2004 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is August 27, 2004. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
