Description

PROJECT TITLE & Location: Oakland Harbor Navigation Improvement (50 Foot) Deepening Project, Inner & Outer Harbor Dredging, Phase 1B ?????? Bulkhead Construction, Dredging, and partial demolition of Piers 2 & 5, Oakland Inner Harbor, Alameda and San Francisco Counties, California. This procurement is Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is Unrestricted. JOB DESCRIPTION: The work consists of partial demolition of Piers 2 & 5, retrofit of the remaining Pier 2, removal of the shoreline debris, construction of st eel sheet pile bulkhead, and dredging of approximately 163,000 cubic yards of material including the San Antonio Formation (SAF), Young Bay Mud (YBM) and Old Bay Mud (OBM) material. Dredging of the SAF, YBM, and OBM material shall be to a project depth of minus 42 feet MLLW, plus 1-foot allowable overdepth. Transportation and delivery of the dredged material will be at the Berth 10, Port of Oakland. This procurement will be conducted under NACIS 237990. The size standard for this NACIS code is $17 Million. Estimated cost is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The acquisition method is Invitation for Bid IFB. Any future amendments t o the solicitation will also be available for download from this web site. I t is important that you first go to this web site and under Contract Division home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to Plan Holder Registration. This will require you to establish a user name and pass word. Keep the user name and pass word and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on the plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration on time. If you have your user name and password y ou can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. In order to receive notification on any amendments to the solicitation you are required to register for the plan holder list. Please complete all requested information. Select plans or specs from the drop down box and press the go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on file name and download. To do download amendments: Access th e list of advertised solicitations. Select the desired solicitation and then click on the amendment number. At the next screen, click on the file name and download it. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
