The United States Army Missile Defense Command, Joint Project Management Office - Chemical Biological Medical Systems, Medical Information Treatment Systems Product Manager, is conducting a market survey seeking sources in developing or providing autoinjec tors in support of Department of Defense military personnel. Autoinjectors are FDA approved drug delivery medical devices which are pre-filled, single use devices used to inject a precise amount of drug product(s) in to the body, normally in an outer thig h muscle area, in a medical emergency allowing another person or self to take life-saving action before arrival of health care professionals. The response should include an overview of current capability including manufacturing capacity, status of FDA approval, availability of the autoinjector, capability, a description of the autoinjector, and product informatio n including estimated cost. If an autoinjector is not part of the current product line, but there is interest in exploring the addition of an autoinjector, or if you manufacture an autoinjector but it is not presently FDA approved, your response should id entify when the capability would be available to produce an FDA approved autoinjector and the anticipated unit price. In addition, capability of filling the autoinjector with Government Furnished Material should be discussed. If the capability does not pr esently exist, provide an estimated schedule and estimated cost for implementing it. Responses should include the interested source company name, complete address, CAGE Code, and a technical point of contact with phone number and email address. In additio n responses should indicate the interested sources' business size status; small business should indicate whether they are small-disadvantaged, woman-owned, HUBZone, and/or service-disabled veteran owned. Sources should indicate whether they are US or fore ign owned. Any information submitted by respondents to this survey is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought survey. Sources must indemnify the Government from any patent infringem ent. All proprietary information should be marked as such. Sources having the interest or capability to develop or provide this device are invited to provide information regarding the company to claudia.addison@det.amedd.army.mil.
