- Description: The purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the February, 1997 Request for Proposals for the leasing of historic bath house properties at Hot Springs National Park for adaptive re-use will close as of July 30, 2004. The National Park Service will issue a new Request for Proposals for these buildings in the Fall of 2004. Any proposal to be submitted under the 1997 Request for Proposals must be received at National Park Service, Office of the Superintendent, Hot Springs National Park, P.O. Box 1860, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71902 no later than 4:30 p.m. on the response date shown above, in order to be evaluated and considered. A copy of the 1997 Request for Proposals can be obtained at the following address: National Park Service, Office of the Superintendent, Hot Springs National Park, P.O. Box 1860, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71902, for in person pick-up: National Park Service, Hot Springs National Park, 101 Reserve Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901. An electronic copy of the Request for Proposals is not available. Telephone requests for a copy of the 1997 Request for Proposals may be made to the Office of the Superintendent at (501)623-2824. Interested persons may also contact the Hot Springs Superintendent at the telephone number stated above to have their name placed on a list of persons to be notified when the new Hot Springs Request for Proposals for leasing of historic bath houses for adaptive re-use is issued in the Fall of this year. The new Request for Proposals will provide a lengthy period for response and will establish a fixed date for submission of proposals.
