Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of various bread products for the inmate population at the United States Penitentiary Terre Haute, Indiana. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract shall consist of a 12-month period. The estimated quantities are as follows: (1) 38,000 loaves of White Bread, (2) 38,000 loaves of Wheat Bread, (3) 112,800 each of Hamburger Buns, (4) 112,800 each of Hot Dog Buns, (5) 4500 packages of Hoagie Rolls, (6) 27,000 each of English Muffins, (7) 12,000 loaves of Kosher/Pareve Wheat Bread, (8) 10,000 loaves of Texas Toast, (9) 54,000 each of Dinner Rolls ready to serve. The solicitation will be available on or about July 21, 2004 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about August 18, 2004. The solicitation is unrestricted. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
