Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice: Project YTPM 03-3009. This acquisition is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract consisting of demolition, maintenance, repair, replacement, and construction of base pavements, including, but not limited to sidewalks, driveways, roads, parking lots, drainage systems, and base airfield pavements. The work includes both flexible (asphaltic) and portland cement based pavements. This is a unit price contract. The solicitation will be issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and the government anticipates awarding a base period from the date of award through the following 12 months, with two one-year options that will result in a fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. The magnitude of the maximum amount is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, including all options. The applicable North American Industry Classification is 237310, and small business size standard is $28,500,000. A bid bond is required. The sealed bid will be awarded without discussion to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors. Bid issue will be on or about 14 July 2004 with a due date for receipt of bids on or about 11 August 2004. All requests to be placed on the bidders mailing list must be submitted by mail, fax or e-mail, telephone requests will not be honored. A complete copy of the solicitation will be provided on a CD-ROM disc, paper copies of the solicitation documents will not be provided.
