Description

Operation and Maintenance Services, Trinidad Dam and Lake Project, Las Animas County, Trinidad Dam, Trinidad, Colorado. Competition for this acquisition is 100% small business set-aside and only responses from small business concerns will be conside red. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. This is a firm-fixed price contract, NAICS is 561210 (former SIC Code 8744), with a size standard of $30,000,000. The project consists of providing all resources necessary for the o peration and maintenance of Trinidad Lake and Dam, Trinidad, Colorado. Work includes the operation, maintenance, and inspection of various roads and rights-of-way, grounds, facilities, buildings, equipment, utility and hydraulic systems, and structures, i ncluding dam gates, spillways, outlet works, and conduits, and conducting various monitoring, testing, data collection, and safety requirements of the dam. Contract is for 12 months with four option years. The Invitation For Bid (IFB) plans will be issued on or about July 08, 2004, with bid opening on or about August 09, 2004. The project will be advertised as an Invitation For Bid. Proposed procurement will result in a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. BIDDERS MUST BE REGISTERED with Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government contract award. To register, the CCR Internet address is: http://www .ccr.gov/. Additionally a paper form for registration may be obtained from the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. This solicitation will be issued using electronic bid sets (EBS) and provided for download from the Albuquerque D istrict Web Page to all registered plan holders. Any prospective bidders interested in bidding on this solicitation must register to be placed on the Plan Holders List. If you are not registered, the United States Government is not responsible for provid ing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. Bidders must self-register on the Internet. THE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE IS AS FOLLOWS: At the Albuquerque District Contracting Division home page at web site, http://www.spa.usace.army.mil, f ind Doing Business With Us and click on Advertised Solicitations. On this screen that is entitled, EBS Albuquerque District, click on the solicitation number you are interested in. On the following screen, find Solicitation Registration, and click on Reg ister For This Solicitation. If you have not previously registered, click on New User and follow the instructions for Login Information. This will require you to establish a user name and password. The same user name and password may be used to register for other projects in the system without having to repeat the entire registration process. When you register for the Plan Holders List, please complete all requested information. After completing the registration process for this solicitation, verify th at your firms name appears on the associated Plan Holders List. All bidders should check the Albuquerque District Contracting Division website daily for notification of any changes to this solicitation, including amendments.
