- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation and the solicitation number is RFQ041005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-21. The NAICS code is 212319. The USDI, Bureau of Land Management, Ukiah Field Office, located in Ukiah, CA has the following requirement: 1. 2,850 Tons of Class II 3/4 inch Crushed Aggregate - delivered _______________________________________________________________________, 2. 90 tons of 3 to 4 foot Rock (Rip Rap) - delivered _______________________________________________________________________, 3. 120 tons of Number One Backing - delivered _______________________________________________________________________. (This form can be used to submit your quote and can be faxed to 707-468-4061.) The Crushed Aggregate shall meet the requirements of Section 26 of the California Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Class II ? inch (10 millimeter) crushed aggregate. The contractor shall certify prior to delivery that all material shall meet the class two specifications. Delivery shall be by either transfer trucks or belly dumps. The Number one Backing and the Rip Rap can be delivered by either end-dumps or transfer-trucks. The delivery location is Cowboy Camp which is one mile south of highway 20 on highway 16 in Lake County, CA. The delivery date is approximate. When delivery starts, all Class II Road Base will be delivered with-in a two week period. The contractor will have one week notice prior to start of delivery. The approximate delivery time is between July 26, 2004 and October 30, 2004. Quotes are due June 30, 2004 by 12 p.m. midnight and can be faxed to the number above or mailed to 2550 North State Street, Ukiah, CA 95482, attn: Linda Stewart. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial and 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items.
