- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NAVSEA will hold a pre-solicitation conference/industry briefing on 30 June 2004 from 1000 - 1200 PST at the Dental Clinic Auditorium, Building 3230, Naval Station Dry Side. The purpose of this pre-solicitation conference is to inform industry on the subject DRAFT solicitation. The Navy asks that firms interested in attending submit notification via e-mail to Brian Rose at RoseBR@navsea.navy.mil no later than 2 5 June 2004. Notification should include company name, name(s) of attendee(s) and relevant contact information such as phone number and e-mail address. Firms must go through the necessary procedures to obtain vehicle access to the facilities. Detailed information and procedures can be found at the NAVSEA San Diego Security Office website, http://www.sssd.navy.mil/Security/main.html. All questions concerning personnel and vehicular access should be addressed to the Point of Contact on this website. Parking is on a first come, first serve basis and attendees may use one of the following parking lots: 1) the Anchor?s & Spurs, 2) the Dental Clinic lot, by the Fire Fighting School, 3) the Bowling Alley lot or 4) the lot off of Vesta Street. The closest entrance to the facility is through Gate 32 on Yama Drive off of Main Street. Any questions concerning the pre-solicitation c onference are to be submitted no later than 25 June 2004 via e-mail to Brian Rose at RoseBR@navsea.navy.mil. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a DRAFT solicitation N00024-04-R-4418 for execution planning and accomplishment of Dry-docking Selected Restricted Availabilities/Non Dry-docking Selected Restricted Availabilities for CG 47 Class ships homeported in San Diego, CA. The effort will include execution planning, accomplishment of DSRAs and SRAs and continuous/emergent maintenance requirements. A cost plus award fee contract is contemplated. The draft solicitation will be issued for comment and posted electronically under its solicitation number on or about 07 July 2004 at the following web sites: http://www.eps.gov and http://www.neco.navy.mil
