Description

The Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD) intends to issue a commercial item Simplified Acquisition solicitation for a quantity of 600 cases of 16mm Microfilming storage boxes. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 423420 and the business size standard is 100 employees. The Government will provide a sample of the microfilming storage box. The solicitation will be released on or about July 6, 2004. We will post the solicitation to fedbizopps.gov when it is released. To receive the solicitation package, you must submit your request by email to procurement@bpd.treas.gov, or fax your request to (304) 480-7203, attention Judy Sayre. Vendors must call (304) 480-7124 to confirm receipt of fax or email request. When submitting your request for the solicitation package, a complete mailing address must be provided. Since the Government is providing a sample of the microfilming storage box, the solicitation package will be sent to each requesting vendor by mail. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the FedBizOpps site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions. If the Internet option is not available to you, you may receive a hard copy of the solicitation and any amendments (via U.S. Mail) by faxing your request to (304) 480-7203 or e-mailing your request to procurement@bpd.treas.gov.
