- Description
- KINGSTON MEADOW STREAM CHANNEL STABILIZATION PROJECT. Consists of installing up to 13 grade control structures on Kingston Creek in Kingston Meadow, stabilizing stream banks in the mid and lower portion of the channel and stabilizing stream bank sapping zones. The project is located Kingston Canyon in the NE ?, NE ?, Section 8, T.16N., R.43E., approximately 7 miles upstream of Kingston, Nevada, in Lander County. Proceed east on Hwy 50 from Austin, Nevada, to State Route 376 and turn right. Proceed for about 15 miles to Forest Road 002 (2nd Kingston turnoff) and turn right. Proceed for about 9 miles, through the Town of Kingston, to Kingston Meadows. NAICS code: 237990; size standard: $28.5 million. Estimated start date is August 22, 2004 with 30 calendar days for completion. Estimated price range is less than $25,000. This proposed procurement is under this Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
