Description

Furnish all design and construction period services for a project to replace the two existing cooling towers at this facility. Design is to take into account future chiller replacement project for a larger absorption chiller. The design will also include a plate and frame cooling system for light load periods in the chiller plant. Successful A/E firm will furnish all specifications and drawings in electronic format as well as a reproducible set for construction purposes, VA specifications are available on the web site and design services shall be accomplished according to the VA design guides. Electronic drawing format shall be in AutoCAD. A/E shall furnish a complete set of as-built drawings upon completion of project. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Emerging Business in accordance with the Small Business Demonstration Program (FAR 19.10). NAICS is 541330 with a Small Emerging Size Standard of $2.0 million in average annual receipts for the last three fiscal years. Procurement is also restricted to firms licensed in the state of Colorado. Firms desiring consideration should submit their SF 330 no later than August 2, 2004.
