Description
The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy Division has a requirement for a contractor to provide clinical respiratory services as well as delivery and setup of ventilator and related equipment systems; perform preventive maintenance, repairs, pick-up of equipment, education/training to patient and caregiver, and provide rental of ventilator systems to include all parts, labor, and expandable material or supplies. Current patient requirements reflect five (5) patients requiring services at their home of residence, this quantity will fluctuate based on patient requirements. Pricing shall be structured at or below Medicare reimbursable rates. Contract will be for base year with (4) twelve-month renewal options. This procurement is unrestricted. This procurement is being conducted in conjunction with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.501(a) (2) (I), test program, using simplified acquisition procedures and Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 621610. Size standards $11.5M. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. All responsible sources may submit an offer. The Request for Quotation is due no later 4:30 p.m., CST, June 29, 2004. The government anticipates making a single award to the most highly qualified offeror, however in accordance with the terms of the solicitation the government may exercise the right to make multiple awards. Facsimile and telephonic requests are not acceptable. Offeror's must use the electronic medium outlined above. Offers should be submitted to the address listed on page 1 of the solicitation. Amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments, signing up for bidders list in FedBizOpps will automatically electronically provide you with any amendments to this solicitation.
