- Description
- Provide Grounds Maintenance Services for the Air Mobility Warfare Center(AMWC) at Ft Dix New Jersey. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform grounds maintenance services for the AMWC at Ft Dix New Jersey in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall comply with all local, State and Federal laws and regulations. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price contract with a Base period and four one year options. Performance period will begin 1 Oct 04 to 30 Sep 05 with a dormant period from 1 Dec 04 to 28 Feb 05. A pre-proposal conference and site visit are tentatively scheduled on or about 29 July 2004. If planning to attend the site visit and in order to ensure access to McGuire AFB and Ft Dix , prior coordination with the 305th Contracting Squadron is mandatory not later than 27 July 2004. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for quotation and is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561730, Landscaping services, Standard Industry Code (SIC) is 0782 and the related size standard is $6 million. The required delivery time is 30 days after receipt contract award. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 20 July 2004. Due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps (EPS) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov . The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 305 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation.
