- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4620-04-Q-A033 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. NAICS Code is 423310. Small business size standard for Government contracts is 500 employees. This is a small business set-a-side. Unit Small Business Specialist is Ms. Marion Nelson (509) 247-4880; link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA http://sba.gov, link to unit public information http://www.fairchild.af.mil/lgcons. The contractor shall replace and replace hangar tail door of an aircraft storage facility in accordance with attached Statement of Work. Contractor shall be required to complete contract requirements within 60 days after contract award. The following attachments are incorporated as part of this solicitation and can be downloaded at link: http://www.eps.gov. 1) Pricing Schedule 2) Statement of Work and 3) Background Checks for Contractor Personnel Requiring Personnel Entry/Access to Installation/Locations, USAF Contractor/Vendor Access Affidavit, Agency Disclosure Notice, and 4) Site Visit Rules of Engagement/Hold Harmless Agreement. Organized Site Visit: Scheduled for 24 June 2004, 9:00 AM. Participants will meet at 8:45 AM at the 92nd Contracting Squadron, 110 W. ENT St. Suite 200, Fairchild AFB. Prospective contractors need to contact MSgt Rinderle at (509) 247-2235 no later than 1:00 PM on 22 June advising the names of the contractor personnel who will be attending the site visit to enable access to Fairchild Air Force Base. The government will provide and operate a high lift vehicle during the site visit ?only? enabling contractors first hand access to the hangar door repair/replacement requirement. Each contractor attending site visit who wants to be raised via high lift, must complete Site Visit Rules of Engagement/ Hold Harmless Agreement prior to being allowed access to high lift. Central Contractor Registration (CCR): Lack of CCR registration will make an offeror ineligible for award. Submission of Quotes: Quotes may be faxed to MSgt Rick Rinderle at (509) 247-8685 or mailed to the above address. Submit the following items with the quotation: 1) Pricing Schedule, 2) Completed Representations and Certifications as required in FAR 52.212-3 (accessible at the Air Force FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil).
