- The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Connecticut intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Simula Aerospace & Defense Group, Inc 7822 South 46th St Phoenix, AZ, 85044-5313 for the procurement of four each of Energy-Absorbing Crew C hief/Flight Engineer Seat and Adapter Frame for CH47D Aircraft, Part Number : 110400-1, for delivery to the Connecticut Aviation Classification and Repair Depot (CTAVCRAD), 139 Tower Ave, 06340. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awar ded to Simula Safety Systems, Inc, under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 and FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source. All qualified sources must respond in writing not later than 2 PM EST, 7 July 2004. The seats must meet or exceed the characteristics of the Simula Aerospace & Defense Group components as follows: Seat Frame, 110410-1; Seat, 110420-1; Airframe Installation Kit, 110430-1. FOB Destination. Inspection and acceptance at Destination. This proc urement is 100% set-aside for small business; NAICS Code: 336413; Size Standard: 1,000.
