Description

The Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, UT intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to Carrier Transport, Inc. under FAR Subpart 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Simplified Acqu isition Procedures FAR Part 13 will be used. The award will be for the upgrade of Carrier Transport, Inc. Straddle Carrier Trailer, Model No. S32HM24. This is a notice of intent to award sole source and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates the firms ability to provide upgrade as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respo nd to A82000-4159-0402 by 4:00 pm MST, June 28, 2004 to Paula Kramer, Tooele Army Depot, Bldg 1005, Tooele, UT 84074 or to kramerp@emh2.tooele.army.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed commercial item purchase order based up on responses to this notice only is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
