Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate a Time-and-Materials contract on a competitive basis for Web Architecture Engineering, Design, and Support services which may include assessments of the Enterprise Web Architecture; assessments of products for the infrastructure; and integration/documentation of the Web Architecture and DEA's FIREBIRD Platform. The acquisition will be conducted using full and open competition under NAICS 541519. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 26, 2004 through DEA’s Acquisitions webpage found at www.dea.gov (click on Acquisitions & Contracts, then Open Solicitations AFTER the solicitation is available). It is the offerors’ responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. Hardcopies of the RFP will NOT be available. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and any amendments and will be required to provide identification information at the time of that download (AFTER the solicitation is available). No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. The proposed contract will have a period of performance of one year and four one-year options, beginning on or about May 24, 2004. Security background investigations will be performed on contractor personnel. Proposals will be evaluated and selection will be made based on “best value” criteria, which may include offerors’ capability to provide experienced and qualified personnel, the offerors’ past performance, and the offerors’ understanding of the technical approach.
