- Description
- Amendment 1 to Solicitation F77RTS41030100 for Self-Contained Portable Shower Units. The following information is provided to assist in your firm’s decision to quote: The Government has coordinated with Base Civil Engineer personnel on Eglin AFB to install water, sewer, and electric. Power will consist of single phase 120/240 Volt with a minimum of 100 amps. Sewer will consist of 2 each 300-gallon septic tanks. The Customer has reduced the requirement to one (1) each New Self-Contained Portable Shower Unit with 20 private shower stalls with showerheads. The unit must have 20 mirrors and sinks with electrical outlets to support each sink. The Customer requires a unit to accommodate 120 personnel in the morning and 120 personnel in the evening for an estimated total of 240 showers per day. The desired window to accommodate a 120 people is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The ratio of personnel is 90% men and 10% women, with no special accommodations for the latter. The Customer will develop a shower schedule accordingly. The contractor who is awarded a Purchase Order resulting from Solicitation F77RTS41030100 will be responsible for installing the trailer (Self-Contained Portable Shower Unit) and servicing it on a monthly basis. The contractor is also responsible for ensuring the latrine is properly connected to the power and sewer line. The time and date for receipt of quotes is hereby extended to 4:00 p.m., local time, Eglin AFB, FL on 25 June 2004.
