- Solicitation number: FA8103-04-R-0081. This solicitation will combine requirements for FD2030-04-35339 and FD2030-04-35345. FD2030-04-35339 NSN: 6620-00-003-9771 P/N: 8DJ142LXF4 ITEM: FUEL FLOW INDICATOR, QTY 25 EA APPLICABLE: KC-135R DELIVERY: 25 EA BY 11 NOVEMBER 2004. SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: 11 MAR 04. ESTIMATED AWARD DATE: 12 MAY 2004. Item Description: Provides cockpit display of engine mass rate of fuel consumption. This unit produces 8 HZ electrical power for a motor in the fuel rate of flow transmitter located elsewhere in the fuel system. New/Unused Government surplus is acceptable for this requirement. Qualification requirements apply. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements are available upon request. Qualification requirements apply to all line items. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 11 Mar 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 12 Apr 2004. The anticipated award date will be 12 May 2004. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Copies of the solicitation must be obtained from the FedBizOpps website at www.eps.gov. Data must be obtained from the TeDs website at www.dodteds.com only after the solicitation has been issued. Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It measures rate of fuel consumption (mass rate of flow) in terms of pounds per minute and sends corresponding electrical position command signal to cockpit indicators. 4” L x 3 D. Material: Non corrosive metals. Qualification requirements apply. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.
