Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions. The due date is not extended. Q: Does the surveyor/industrial hygienist have to have a license in Colorado? A: The federal government does not require the surveyor/industrial hygienist to be locally licensed, however the surveyor/industrial hygienist should have knowledge of local codes and laws. Q: Where can I find FAR part 52 Clause Subcontractors and Outside Associates and Consultants(Architect-Engineer Services)? The outside associates also wanted to know what they should mark themselves as on section C of the SF 330. A: As there is no place to mark themselves as outside associates in section C the firm should mark themselves as a sub-contractor. The FAR and DFARS clauses can be found on the farsite website; at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The text of clause asked for is below; 52.244-4 -Subcontractors and Outside Associates and Consultants (Architect-Engineer Services)(Aug 1998) Any subcontractors and outside associates or consultants required by the Contractor in connection with the services covered by the contract wi ll be limited to individuals or firms that were specifically identified and agreed to during negotiations. The Contractor shall obtain the Contracting Officer's written consent before making any substitution for these subcontractors, associates, or consult ants.
