Description
The Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program is seeking the assistance of an organization capable of assembling a subject matter expert panel for review of biodefense vaccines in advanced development. The goal of the review is to examine existing technical approaches and schedules to ensure vaccine development plans are effective and to recommend changes to programs to improve efficiency. The products to be evaluated may include recombinant botulinum vaccine, recombinant plague vaccine, and Venezuelan equi ne encephalitis vaccine, a live viral vaccine. These programs are all at similar stages of development, IND applications have been submitted or will be submitted within the next few months. The review panel for these programs must include but may not be limited to, experienced persons in the areas of regulatory affairs, clinical trials, GMP manufacturing, non-clinical studies required for the animal rule, and pharmaceutical project management. Interested organizations should submit a summary of capabilities and experience, including qualifications of potential review panel participants.
