Description
Project consists of reconstruction of two dispersed camping areas (Sawmill Hollow and Sheep Creek) and one-day use picnic area (Red Ledges). In general, work will include construction staking, clearing and grubbing, project site preparation and grading, construction of entrance roads, parking areas, trails, camping spurs, picnic and family pads and bulletin boards, furnishing and installation of fence (wire and post & pole), traffic control signs, and barrier rocks. All roads, parking areas, trails and camping pads have crushed aggregate surfaces with exception of Red Ledges Picnic Site, which will include concrete surfaced picnic pads. Camping pads include furnishing and installing tables, fire circles and pedestal grills. In addition, at Sawmill Hollow, includes furnishing and installation of horse tie racks. Optional work that may be awarded includes reconstruction of Dry Canyon Dispersed Site including furnishing and installation of a 90-foot footbridge and removal and disposal of existing structures, furnishing and placement/installation of asphalt surfacing, pavement markings, concrete curb stops, signs, additional pads, fence, and a cattle guard. Optional work included in the schedule of items is prioritized by number. This project is located within Utah County approximately 19 to 26 miles from Interstate 15 (I-15), exit 261, East along State Hwy 6 and Northeast along Diamond Fork Road (FSR#70029) in Diamond Fork Canyon. This procurement is between $100,000 and $500,000 for the base and optional items. Solicitation package will approximately be uploaded into FedBizOpps on July 8, 2004****
